Bio-engineered Moondial

Here's a teaser for a new character who will appear in my novel "The Adventures of Zovhara Ashfrost". I'll be putting out more teasers in the days to come until the chapter is released.

This is a bio-engineered moondial. The microorganisms inside its clockwork are sensitive to the gravitational pull of the moon, and hence is able to tell time. Do you like the concept? Hope you like the character as well!
